Before the consultation.
1. Prepare your equipment.

- a good quality headset — optional, but useful for eliminating ambient noise

- a notebook or word processor for taking notes

Make sure your volume is on, and your microphone, camera, and speakers are in good working order. Check that you’re connected to the internet. Talk to the clinician the way you would during an in-person appointment. Let them know if you need them to repeat anything or if there are any problems with the call.
