Precision Health offers a revolutionary approach to unlock a deeper understanding of your health with access to more data through advanced preventive health packages. This service is available at our latest TELUS Health Care Centre in Calgary, Alberta and is the first of its kind in Canada. Precision Health provides a new level of health knowledge through a consolidated view of the body’s predispositions, current state and health potential. Armed with these insights, our objective is to empower people to use this information to proactively enhance their overall health and wellbeing.

Precision Health focuses solely on providing advanced preventive health insights from results and does not offer diagnostic or treatment services.

Welcome to a new era of prevention

Precision Health packages consist of state-of-the art technology and may include whole-body MRI imaging with Digital Twin—a 2D interactive representation of your physiology and composition, body composition analysis and bone densitometry through DEXA imaging, genetic testing, comprehensive lab screenings, Oura ring data tracking, VO2 Max to measure oxygen consumption, advanced physical and lifestyle assessments and more.

Results are reviewed alongside our nurse practitioner and customized action plans are created by our health coaches who will provide evidence-based guidance with regards to nutrition, exercise, training and lifestyle elements like sleep and stress. This guidance aims to pinpoint areas for improvement to help you achieve true health empowerment.

With your valued time and efficiency in mind, we have developed a digitized intake process through our TELUS Health Care Centre app for an optimal in-person experience. The app is a secure hub where you begin your onboarding journey, chat with our team, check your health records and manage appointment details. Your results are then neatly presented to you in a user-friendly, interactive health report delivered through the app.

Knowing that lifestyle habits and genetics play a crucial role in heart health, this package focuses on the importance of managing your health and lifestyle choices. When you actively prioritize your heart, you can better pursue personal and professional goals with confidence and vitality.

Performance: Whether you're leading an active lifestyle or excelling as an athlete, this package includes a series of advanced fitness assessments and screenings, harnessing the power of your data to help optimize your athletic performance and physique. Together, we will work to create a personalized plan based on your body’s current state and health goals to help you reach greater athletic heights.

Establishing and understanding your body’s baseline as part of your first experience with a Precision Health package is like having a roadmap for your health; with each subsequent Precision Health package, your health trendline grows richer, allowing us to tailor our approach and adapt to your evolving data and needs.¹ Armed with this knowledge, you can make informed decisions about your health and aim for optimal outcomes. 

A personalized health experience

Our space offers a truly personalized health experience with all services conveniently housed under one roof. To create a more approachable atmosphere and support you in managing any stressors related to health tests, we offer immersive digital environments. These immersive settings, like underwater scenes, outer space vistas, sunsets or mountain landscapes are designed to help you relax and reduce anxiety. Our Energy Café also provides a range of fresh and healthy food options to keep you energized during your visit. 

Benefits plan coverage

You may be eligible for reimbursement for your chosen Precision Health package through your extended health insurance or other employee benefits, such as a Health Spending Account (HSA) and/or Wellbeing Account (WBA). We recommend reaching out to your extended health insurance provider to review your current coverage. Balances not covered through your insurance may be tax-deductible as a medical expense when filing your annual income taxes, depending on the services rendered.
